Flight Dispatcher Seminar
To become a flight dispatcher in Canada, the Transport Canada Generic exams must first be passed, with at least 70% obtained on each exam. The first exam is on Air Law and Procedures, Navigation General, Flight Instruments and Flight Operations, and the second exam is on Meteorology. Following successful completion of the Transport Canada generic exams, employment must be found with a Canadian Airline Operator, and the operater will provide further specific training. Upon completion of the Transport Canada Generic Exams as well as the Air Operator's Specific Training, the successful candidate will then qualify for a Flight Dispatcher Certificate.
Our Flight Dispatcher seminar is an intensive four day seminar that is designed to assist persons preparing to sit the Transport Canada Flight Dispatcher Generic written examinations. While no specific pre-qualification is necessary to sit the Transport Canada Flight Dispatcher exams, these are complex exams on advanced aviation subjects, many of which are the equivalent subjects that would have to be known by a licenced Airline Transport Pilot. As such, we highly recommend advance study of our training texts prior to attending our seminar, especially for those having minimimal previous familiarity with aviation subjects.
