General Information

CURRENCY: All orders from this website will be processed in Canadian funds. The Bank of Canada's currency converter can be used to determine equivalent foreign currency amount.

SECURITY/PRIVACY STATEMENT: All orders made from our store are encrypted via SSL technology at checkout and are completely secure. We respect your privacy: any ordering information provided will be kept strictly confidential and will not be released to third parties under any circumstances. We promise that any personal information you provide will only be used for the purpose of completing your order and we will not use such information for any online promotions, spam or other form of electronic junk mail.

ORDER PROCESSING FEE: For all products ordered including physical goods to be shipped, and for online training products, an order processing fee of $25 flat rate will be applied, plus GST/HST for Canadian orders.

SALES TAXES: For orders destined to locations within Canada, GST/HST/PST will be added. GST/HST/PST will not be added for USA/international orders.

HST REBATE: Depending on the products ordered and the purchaser location, the purchaser may qualify for a rebate of the provincial portion of the HST. Where the purchaser qualifies for an HST rebate, the rebate will be automatically applied at the time of processing sale and the net HST payable will be reduced by the point of sale rebate. There is no need to specifically request or apply for the HST rebate.

GST/HST BREAK DEC 14, 2024 - FEB 15, 2025: We will not charge GST/HST on Culhane textbooks ordered individually during the Federal GST/HST tax break (orders for online courses/online exams, Culhane logbooks and ground school kits that include Culhane texts are still taxable). Please note that during the GST/HST break period our online order processing software will continue to display GST/HST for Culhane textbooks, but GST/HST will not be billed to the net payment that we process to your credit card.

SHIPPING OPTIONS - CANADA: We offer Canada Post Expedited Parcel (about 1 - 12 days) and Canada Post Expresspost (about 1 - 6 days). Shipping times to remote or rural areas can take longer.

SHIPPING - USA: Orders to the USA will be sent via Canada Post ExpressPost USA service. Expresspost USA service normally takes about 2 - 7 days.

SHIPPING - INTERNATIONAL: For international shipments, we normally use Canada Post Expresspost International service. International shipments normally arrive between 2 - 30 days. We will not charge Canadian taxes for international orders. However, the customer is responsible for payment of any added customs/broker fees, duties, VAT or other national sales taxes as may be charged at delivery. We will declare the full retail value in $CDN of your order to comply with customs declaration requirements. Please note that added duties/VAT/customs charges for international orders can be significant and can easily approximate or exceed Canadian taxes (up to 15% or more). If you are concerned about duties/VAT/customs charges that may be added to your order by your home country, please research these charges in advance of placing your order - we have no control over these added charges. Please note as well that international customs inspections in some nations can sometimes significantly delay the arrival of your order depending on the destination nation.

SHIPPING - ONLINE PRODUCTS: Other than the order processing fee, no additional shipping charges apply for the order of online ground school/online exams without accompanying physical products. Where only online products are ordered with no accompanying texts, please select the shipping option "Online Products Only (no texts)". For a mixed order of online products with textbooks or other physical products, please select a shipping option that includes shipping costs for such accompanying textbooks or other physical products.

SHIPPING ADDRESS - UNIT/APARTMENT/SUITE NUMBER/PO BOX: Please be sure to provide us with your full and complete shipping address that includes your unit, apartment or suite number as appropriate since your shipment will be un-deliverable without this information.

PAYMENT METHODS: Payment can be made by credit card only - we accept VISA, MASTERCARD and AMEX. We do not accept personal cheques/money orders and we don't offer COD service.

ONLINE GROUND SCHOOLS/ONLINE EXAMS - USER ACCESS PASSWORDS, SUPPORTING TEXTS: Please allow 24 hours for us to set up your individual user access ID and password: individualized user access credentials will be sent via separate email once completed. Users of our online ground schools and online exams will require access to appropriate Culhane training manuals to access aviation charts, aircraft performance tables and weather summaries: supporting texts are NOT provided or supplied for free in electronic format and are NOT included in our basic online course or online exam fee - please be sure to order appropriate texts to match the online course/online exams ordered. Discounted pricing is offered for a combined order of online course/online exam with supporting text(s).

E-MAIL NOTIFICATION/CONFIRMATION OF SHIPPING: We normally send e-mail notification with confirmation of shipping and tracking information for your order within 1 - 3 days of receiving your order to the e-mail address you provided with your order. If you have not received shipping confirmation, please check your privacy settings or SPAM filters for your e-mail software. We will only use your e-mail address for order and shipping confirmation and we promise not use your e-mail for any other purpose.

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY: All sales are FINAL - No returns, exchanges, refunds or credits.

LATE/MISSING SHIPMENTS: All our shipments normally arrive on time but if you have not received your order within 12 days for a Canada/USA shipment, or 30 days for an international shipment, please notify us via email at info@acceleratedaviation.com or telephone at 604-279-0179 and we will run a track/trace of your order and report to you. NOTE: Typically, when we are contacted regarding a late/missing shipment, it is almost always the case that Canada Post has already attempted delivery and left a delivery pick-up card indicating where the item can be picked up locally at a Canada Post retail outlet such as a nearby convenience store (7-11, Shoppers Drug Mart etc.): please check your mail to see if you have already received a delivery pick-up card. As well, Canada Post may have already delivered the shipment to whomever answered the door if you were not home at the time of delivery - check with your family/relatives, room-mate, neighbor, landlord etc. As stated, for international orders, sometimes delays can result for customs clearance and processing, which are beyond our control.
